Willie Campbell

I've realized that drawing from the newspaper everyday was slightly unrealistic. There are simply days where I have no time or I'm just too exhausted. I didn't really take that into account. But I will try and post as frequently as possible. With that said, here is a brush drawing that I did a few weeks ago, but never got around to posting. It's a portrait of Willie Campbell, a lovely old Scottish gentleman and WWII vet who sings in the Los Angeles Scottish Fiddlers. I can't understand half the things out of his mouth, but I enjoy my talks with him nonetheless.
